Sonam Kapoor Be Part Of A Darshan film?

Whenever B town girls are in Bengaluru to promote their Hindi films, one question they would definitely have to answer is whether they are interested to act in Kannada films. The television channel reporters are sure to direct such questions to the starlets who have just come to city to promote their films. Tere has always been a stereotyped answer to this questionand the other one about the city of Bengaluru. “Why not, I would definitely act in a Kannada film if I get a proper role in a good set up’ will be a routine answer that would be uttered by any B town glamour girl.
Sonam Kapoor, daughter of actor Anil Kapoor had also answered this typical question in almost a similar fashion. But the girl from Kapoor Khandan might not have realised that an offer would come to her within a few months of statement. Sonam had said that her father Anil Kapoor had made a beginning of his film career in Bengaluru to be part of a Kannada film directed by Manirathnam,and she would definitely love to act if a good offer came her way.
Producer and Director Mahesh Sukhadhare who is now making a film with Darshan is now seriously considering Sonam Kapoor for the leading role of his film. And contacts have already been established through a source in Mumbai who is a close relative of a National award winning singer in Bengaluru who has been in the country’s commercial capital for more than two decades and has lot of interests in Bollywood.
“Yes, I have contacted Sonam Kapoor, but she is yet to give her nod. We have to confirm the dates of the film first and then only discuss with her. “If she is available we would be very happy that then our film will mark Sonam’s first entry to the South Indian film industry. I am also trying to contact her and brief her role and just waiting to get a call from my Mumbai contact’ says Mahesh Sukhadhare.
Mahesh says that Darshan will work in his film after finishing his work in Bul Bul for which muhurath has already been done. Darshan may also allot dates for the Kannada remake of Brundavanam simultaneously along with his film for whichthe story and screenplay has already been approved, says Mahesh Sukhadhare.

Mahesh Sukhadare is the director Darshan's next movie which has been titled Ambareesha. The film will be produced by Sandesh Nagaraj. Nagaraj is an old friend of Ambareesh while Darshan is also very close to the actor-politician. This is not the first time that Ambareesh's name is being used for a film title. Aaditya had acted in a film called Ambi, a few years ago.Interestingly, Dr Rajkumar was for long interested in doing a film called Bhakta Ambareesha, which had no connection with Ambareesh but was a mythological subject. Darshan's new film however is a contemporary subject which will be a, "commercial entertainer."Darshan who is now shooting for Brindavana in Iceland has confirmed that Ambareesha will be his next film. However, Ambareesh is not acting in this film. The film will be launched within the next few weeks

Ambareesha- the name reminds us of the Sandalwood’s Rebel Star Ambareesh who is currently the Minister of Housing of Karnataka state.

A film is currently being shot based on this name. Not to worry, this is not a biopic of the rebel star. Instead Ambareesha is a story that deals with the subject of land mafia, with the Challenging Star Darshan as the protagonist.

One of the big budget films, Ambareesha has a budget of more than 12 crores. The movie’s shooting is progressing briskly and has started the shooting of the second schedule. The second schedule of the movie which is happening around various locations in sure to be a crowd puller, considering that Darshan has delivered nothing but blockbuster hits in the year 2013.

Director Mahesh who has delivered hits like Sambrama, Siddu, Sarvabowma, and Male Bille, is not only directing Ambareesha but also producing the movie for the first time under Sukhadare Pictures banner.

The second schedule of the movie will wrap up various scenes with Darshan, Priyamani, Bullet Prakash, Sadhu Kokila and Rajesh Karanth. Darshan’s favourite V.Harikrishna will be seen on the music, while Sathyan will be debuting as a cameraman in Sandalwood.


Priyamani who has acted along with big names in Kannada industry has been paired along with Darshan for the first time.

Nisha Yogeshwar, daughter of actor-politician Yogeshwar is also making her debut through Ambareesha. The movie which has story, screenplay and dialogues by Chintan will also see Sumalatha Ambareesh in the role of a tough bureaucrat.

Senior actress Rekha who has carved a niche for herself in Tamil films has replace Sumalatha Ambarish in Darshan starrer 'Ambarisha' directed by Mahesh Sukhadhare. Sumalatha was supposed to do a small yet prominent role in the film. But as Sumalatha was busy because of Ambarish's health problems, she has been replaced with her consent.

Rekha is not new to Kannada cinema and the actress made her debut as a heroine in Kannada in the early 90s with Vishnuvardhan starrer 'Nanna Shatru'. After that the actress after a gap of 20 years acted in 'Rajanikantha' as Vijay's mother. Now Rekha has replaced Sumalatha to act in 'Ambarisha'.

ಈಗಾಗಲೇ 'ಅಂಬರೀಶ' ಚಿತ್ರದ ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣ ಮುಗಿದಿದೆ. ಒಂದೆರಡು ಹಾಡುಗಳ ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡ ವಿದೇಶ ಪ್ರವಾಸ ಕೂಡಾ ಮುಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಅಬ್ಟಾಯ್ಯ ನಾಯx ಸ್ಟುಡಿಯೋದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಸೆಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲೊಂದು ಸಾಂಗ್‌ ಶೂಟ್‌ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣ ಮುಗಿಸಿದೆ. ಈ ಸೆಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಗೇಂದ್ರ ಪ್ರಸಾದ್‌ ಬರೆದಿರುವ 'ಅಸುಕು ಪಸುಕು ಲಸಕು ಮುಸುಕು ನನ್ನ ಒಳಗೆ ಛಳಕು ಛಳಕು, ಮುಸುಕು ಮಸುಕು ಮನಸಲ್ಲಿ ಇಣುಕು ಸೊಂಟದಲ್ಲಿ ತೆಗಿಯೋ ಉಳುಕು' ಎಂಬ ಹಾಡನ್ನು ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ದರ್ಶನ್‌ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಿಯಾಮಣಿ ಈ ಹಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ದರ್ಶನ್‌ ಕೂಡಾ 'ಅಂಬರೀಶ' ಚಿತ್ರದ ಮೇಲೆ ತುಂಬಾ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಒಂದು ಔಟ್‌ ಅಂಡ್‌ ಔಟ್‌ ಕಮರ್ಷಿಯಲ್‌ ಸಿನಿಮಾವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗುತ್ತದೆಂಬ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ಅವರದು. ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂಬರೀಶ್‌ ಕೂಡಾ ನಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
