Geethapriya gets Dr B Saroja Devi National Award

At the first year Dr B Saroja Devi national award presentation at Bharatiya vidya Bhavan in a grand style for Jamuna, Anjali Devi and Harini the pride of South India Dr Saroja Devi declared that it is meant for actresses or female related female the annual award will be presented.

Now for this year Dr B Saroja Devi national award ailing Geethapriya has been selected for the award. It carries Rs.1 lakh award.

It is a timely respect and honor for Geethapriya as he is ailing from health problems. Recently the Kannada cinema industry reacted to the ailing director and writer Geethapriya.

Now Dr B Saroja Devi selected for her national award the veteran Geethapriya. The award for Geethapriya will be presented on Saturday morning at 10.30 at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in the presence of Ambarish (Thammayya of Dr B Saroja Devi) and BVB President N Ramanujam.
