ಸುಮನಾ ಕಿತ್ತೂರು ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಿಶೋರ್

ಈಗಾಗಲೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಎರಡು ಚಿತ್ರಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಗಮನಸೆಳೆದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕಿ ಸುಮನಾ ಕಿತ್ತೂರು. ಈಗವರು ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಕಾದಂಬರಿ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಕೈಗೆತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತ ಅಗ್ನಿ ಶ್ರೀಧರ್ ಅವರ 'ಎದೆಗಾರಿಕೆ' ಕಾದಂಬರಿ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿತೆರೆಗೆ ತರಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಸುಮನಾ ಕಿತ್ತೂರು.

ಭೂಗತ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಕಥಾಹಂದರವನ್ನು 'ಎದೆಗಾರಿಕೆ' ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಸುಪಾರಿ ಕಿಲ್ಲರ್ ಒಬ್ಬನ ಸುತ್ತ ಕತೆ ಸುತ್ತುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದೊಂದು ಭೂಗತ ಕಥಾಹಂದರದ ಕಾದಂಬರಿಯಾದರೂ ಅಗ್ನಿ ಶ್ರೀಧರ್ ಅವರ ಬರವಣಿಗೆ ಶೈಲಿ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗೂ ಕುತೂಹಲ ಮೂಡಿಸುವಂತಿದೆ.

ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಸುಮನಾ ಕಿತ್ತೂರು ಅವರು 'ಕಳ್ಳರ ಸಂತೆ' ಮತ್ತು 'ಸ್ಲಂಬಾಲ' ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಕ್ಷನ್, ಕಟ್ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರು. 'ಎದೆಗಾರಿ'ಗೆ ಅವರು ನಿರ್ದೇಶಿಸಲಿರುವ ಮೂರನೆ ಚಿತ್ರ. ಮೊದಲು ಚಿತ್ರಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಸೆನ್ಸಾರ್‌ಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣ ಆರಂಭಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಸುಮನಾ ಕಿತ್ತೂರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಚಿತ್ರದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಕಿಶೋರ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುಮನಾ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಉಳಿದ ಪಾತ್ರವರ್ಗ, ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಬಳಗ, ಪೋಷಕ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟೆ ನಡೆಯಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಸುಪಾರಿ ಕಿಲ್ಲರ್ ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಮುಂಚಿತವಾಗಿಯೇ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಹತ್ಯೆ ಮಾಡುವ ವಿಚಾರ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಮನಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಅಗ್ನಿ ಶ್ರೀಧರ್ ತನ್ನ ಕತೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಬಿಚ್ಚಿಡುತ್ತಾ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ.

Young actor Audithya starrer Edhegaarike which is now being produced by Raveendra and Bachchan was launched on Thursday morning at Bengaluru. The film is based on a novel written by Journalist and Social activist Agni Sridhar. Sumana Kiththoor who had earlier directed Kallara Santhe is the director of this film. Bhavana who had recently acted in the film Bhageerathi directed by Baragooru Ramachandrappa is now acting in another out of box film Edhegaarike. Shivaraj Kumar and Dwarkish were the Chief guests of this muhurath.

Talking about the film Sumana Kiththoor said that she had extremely liked the novel which had lot of possiblities for making into a film. “It is my luck that the offer to direct the film has come to me. It has an interesting plot where the killer has to interact with his victim and see the transformation in the victim who becomes much bolder to face the death’ said Sumana Kiththoor.

Audithya said that he had really needed to work in a film like Edhegaarike which was not only a popular novel written by a well known writer but was based on the real life incidents. “I was looking forward to act in Edhegaarike about which even my father and well known director S.V.Rajendra Singh was interested and even sought permission for the rights of the film. I am really happy that the offer has come to me’ said Audithya. He said that the film will have no blood shed and use of excessive violence. ‘No Machchu, Longu will be used in the film’ said Audithya jokingly.

Sumana Kiththoor said that the film will be shot in Bengaluru, Sakleshpur and then in Mumbai. Twenty days shooting schedule has been planned for the film now.

Agni Sridhar said that the novel was written by him based on his personal experiences in the underworld.

Bhavana who is playing the role of Audithya’s girl friend in the film said that she has been getting variety of roles, but this one in Edhegaarike is certainly of an assertive modern thinking girl who convinces herself and her family members before falling for the charms of the hero.
